Polygon (MATIC) 

Polygon (MATIC) is the native cryptocurrency that powers the Polygon Network, a layer 2 platform created in 2017. Originally called the Matic Network, the Polygon Network allows developers to create and deploy their own blockchains that are compatible with the Ethereum blockchain with a single click, as well as enables other Ethereum-based projects to transfer data and tokens between one another using the MATIC sidechain. Think of it as a smaller blockchain that runs in parallel with the Ethereum blockchain.

​The price of Polygon’s token, MATIC, has skyrocketed during this crypto crash. MATIC has been on a tear over the last month. It increased by more than 200 percent, from a low of $0.32 to a high of $0.98 on July 18. Given the size of the rally, the token looks to be trading in overbought territory.

On MATIC's daily chart, the Tom DeMark (TD) Sequential indicator has shown a sell signal. A green nine candlestick formed the bearish shape, indicating a one to four candlestick correction.

BurgerCities' token market cap has increased by almost 90% from $30.84 million on July 8 to $58.52 million today. Its 24-hour trading volume is presently $112.64 million.
