Robinhood has increased its crypto market footprint by introducing four more cryptocurrencies to its platform: Compound, Polygon, Shiba Inu, and Solana.
As of Tuesday morning, the tokens had a wide range of values, with Shiba Inu costing roughly $.000027 and the compound costing around $130 per token. Prices for Solana and Shiba Inu, in particular, increased by almost 4% when the currencies were included. The crypto listing benefited Robinhood as well, bringing in more crypto investors. The launch comes at a time when the crypto investment market is booming. The broad success of companies like Coinbase, WeBull, and others has put a strain on Robinhood's status as the most popular investment app. This promise was expressed by Robinhood's chief brokerage officer, who stated that the company was "eager to introduce more choices for our consumers as we seek to make Robinhood the best place to invest in crypto."
